Warehouse Operative

Purpose of the Role
Palletising and wrapping of finished goods.
Loading and off-loading vehicles as required.
Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas using pallet trucks and the forklift.
Issue all materials to and from production in an accurate and timely manner using the systems provided.
Returning materials back into stock locations from production in an accurate and timely manner.
Assisting with the picking and Packing of orders.
Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
Serving internal customers at the service desk with parts enquiries and issuing stock out for adhoc jobs.
Annual stock takes and adhoc stock takes.
Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
About you:
Proven experience in a Warehouse environment would be beneficial.
A proven understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice and Health & Safety.
Good Communication Skills.
High level of attention to detail and documentation.
Desirable:
valid Fork Lift Truck certificate.
Previous experience with inventory counting and stock taking.
Essential:
Experience on FLT / Counterbalance or Flexi Truck
Experience using computers / handheld devices
Manual handling experience
