Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an Electromechanical Workshop Engineerbased inMilton Keynesfor a rapidly growing company.\n\nSummary of the Electromechanical Workshop Engineerrole \n\nSalary: circa £35,000\nJob Location: Milton Keynes, 100% site based\nType of Contract: Permanent \nHours: Full time, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday\nBenefits: 25 days of Holiday + bank holidays, Employer 4% pension contribution, life assurance 4X, annual company bonus, private healthcare, private dental, discounts portal, cycle to work scheme and more!\n\nResponsibilities of theElectromechanical Workshop Engineer\n\nService, maintain and customise food manufacturing machinery.\nWork to set checklists to prepare machines before sale.\nPerform service and/or maintenance on industrial machines.\nBuild control panels from scratch.\nFault finding on electrical systems.\nDesign small-scale electrical and pneumatic systems.\nStripping down existing machinery and carrying out repairs.\nProgramming drives with pre-programmed manufacturer software and settings.\nRequirements for a successful Electromechanical Workshop Engineer\n\nNVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent.\nMinimum 3 years' Electro-Mechanical Engineering experience ideally within a workshop environment.\nExperience working with 3-phase electrical systems is essential.\nCOSHH awareness.\nA forklift licence would be advantageous.\nSolidworks, AutoCAD or relevant drawing software experience.\nHands-on approach with experience with working with pneumatics.\nRockwell, Alan Bradley and Omron software experience desirable.\nAllstaff Recruitment are an Independent Recruitment Specialist based in Bedfordshire who work on behalf of companies across Bedford, Milton Keynes and surrounds to fill their vacancies and meet their recruitment needs.
