Shunter / FLT Driver
ST18, Hixon, Staffordshire
We are currently looking to recruit for a Shunter / FLT role with a Class 1 driving entitlement on a temp to perm contract in Hixon.
Role Requirements:
Monday to Friday shifts – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2pm Friday
From £14.04 per hour
Must hold Reach and Counterbalance FLT qualifications (these can be inhouse qualifications)
Must hold Class 1 entitlement with valid CPC and Tacho
Ideally you would need to have a clean license but endorsements such as SP30, etc. can be considered depending on points.
Role Responsibilities:
Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to move, load, and unload goods safely.
Stack and store products in designated warehouse locations.
Safely manoeuvre and reposition trailers around the yard and loading bays.
Ensure all trailer movements comply with site safety regulations.
Conduct pre-use vehicle and trailer checks, reporting any defects.
Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
