General Operator/Operative - ImminghamAssist the warehouse manager in overseeing production, keeping warehouse organized and maintained according to EA and H&S requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTrained in but not limited to carry out following tasks:Import acceptanceQuality check of accepted materialPlacing material in designated areas according to its category and H&S (batteries, lead, plastic, tops)Prepping material for production (assigning loads, tonnage, bags to be processed)Must re-weigh produced materialAll batteries are prepped onto pallets, labelled and weighed.All warehouses must be maintained, 3-5 times per week cleaned up, daily used work areas are cleaned after each shiftCleaning/storage must be done according health and safety and environmental requirementsExports in general - Prepping, loading and weightsBins - Prepping (washing), uploading according to qualities receivedPlan with manager to make sure there are enough bins for next weekBins - use bins according to assigned material to be stored in themReporting any accidents or near misses in the workplaceKeeping work area clean and organizedSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBe trained in, and approved for specific tasks (such as those listed above)Adhere to all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements of the companyWhere appropriate consult and participate, in hazard identification & risk assessmentManagement of own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Positive and motivated.Problem solving and solution focussed ability.Good conflict resolution skills based on a Can do attitude.Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.Ability to use own initiative.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships.Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all interactions should be transparent, open and honest in all dealings.A flexible attitude to the team s work, including a willingness to reprioritise and undertake additional tasks if required.Why Work For Enva?Enva is committed to providing more than just jobs, we want to grow our business by offering career paths that match the aspirations of the talent that is increasingly aware of the need to protect the planet we all share.
