ROLE PURPOSE The Performance Analytics Manager is a key role within the Global Performance Team, supporting the Performance Analytics Director in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge analytics strategies. This role will have a strong focus on data management, data pipeline construction, and ensuring data quality across all analytics initiatives. Experience with data integration platforms is highly desirable. The Performance Analytics Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that enables advanced analytics and drives data-driven decision-making. THE ROLE The Performance Analytics Director will collaborate closely with the Global Performance Lead, regional performance teams, the Ad Tech Director, Performance Solutions team, and client stakeholders. This role demands a deep and practical understanding of GA4, advanced attribution methodologies, data engineering principles, and incrementality testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional analytical and communication skills, and a passion for driving measurable business outcomes through sophisticated analytics. OPENMIND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance: Build and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery). Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support advanced analytics and reporting. Support the implementation of GA4 strategies for clients, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection. Assist in the development and implementation of advanced attribution models. Contribute to the design and execution of incrementality tests. Assist in the development of compelling and actionable dashboards and reports. Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve them. Manage and maintain the Adverity platform, ensuring data connectors are functioning properly and data is flowing seamlessly. Profile: Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies. Share knowledge and best practices with the wider team. Contribute to the development of data management standards and best practices. People: Collaborate with other team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Provide training and support to other team members on data-related topics. Process: Develop and document data management processes and procedures. Implement and maintain data governance policies. Product: Provide input into the development of new analytics products and services. Profitability: Identify opportunities to improve data management efficiency and reduce costs. KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Strong understanding of data engineering principles and data warehousing concepts. Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery) or similar technologies. Experience with data integration platforms like Adverity, Funnel.io, or similar. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Experience with data modelling. Solid understanding of data management best practices, including data quality, data governance, and data security. Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other web analytics platforms. Understanding of marketing analytics concepts and KPIs. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). (Preferred) Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. (Preferred) Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or Amazon Redshift. PERFORMANCE MEASURES: Successful development and maintenance of robust data pipelines. High data quality and accuracy. Effective management of the data integration platforms (e.g., Adverity). Timely resolution of data-related issues.
